Southland's home of natural hair and skincare products using recyclable materials and sustainable resources. We don't test on animals, only obliging people and have tailor made our products to be suitable for the most sensitive skin.
What is your shipping policy within New Zealand?
Orders $100 and under: $8.50
Free freight for orders over $100.
Rural delivery freight takes 2-3 days extra to be delivered.
Do you do International Shipping?
Sorry, we don't ship outside NZ.
How do I make payment?
All prices are in $NZ and include GST.
If you want to pay by direct credit into bank account please contact us to arrange.
Credit card purchases online are accepted.
We also attend the Southern Farmers Market once a month so if you are Invercargill you can always come along to make your purchase there.
What is your returns and refund policy?
Returns on used products are not permitted for health and safety reasons. Unused products will assessed on a case by case basis and provided they meet health and safety requirements will be permitted for return.
Please phone and ask for our physical address to return the goods to.
All freight is at your expense unless the fault is ours. In that case we will refund shipping too.
If an item ordered arrives damaged, please make a claim by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of receiving your order.
If your order does not arrive within a few days of your receiving our notification of it having been shipped, please contact us so we can contact the courier for you, we do email out track and trace information as soon as the item is shipped so you are able to see how your parcel is tracking.
How long will it take to receive my order from Benson Lodge Botanics?
Your order will be dispatched within one business day of payment being received. Your order should take no more than 3-5 days to be couriered to you, depending on where you live. You will be emailed tracking information as soon as it is sent so you are updated throughout the whole process. If you have any issues with the time it takes to receive your order please let me know, customer service is very important to us.
What if my order does not arrive?
There is always a first time for everything but this is yet to happen to us. We dispatch orders using reputable couriers with strict delivery policies and schedules. Unfortunately things do go missing with couriers. Should this happen with your order please send us an email with your order number and we will immediately investigate.

Please remember that although our website is accessible 24 hours a day, our office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
We don't have a physical shop, so coming around to browse isn't an option at this stage. We do attend different markets around the lower South Island though so be sure to keep your eyes open for us.
If you place an order outside our office hours, it will be prepared within the next working day.
Whilst I am a qualified Herbalist I am not a Doctor, I will always inform you of any interactions any of the herbs in our teas have with any pre existing conditions and medications both on our website and on our product packaging but at the end of the day the decisions made for your health are your choice and I can only support you. If you are unsure about anything please talk to your GP as I do not provide medical advise.
